This is the new photo series showing pictures taken on our 4th Scotland vacation in May/June 1998. Starting in southern Scotland, it took us to Glasgow, then for an entire 10 days to the Isle of Islay, back to the Cowall peninsula on the mainland, and further on to the Island of Bute.

The travellers

For the nerds among you: all photographs were taken with an Olympus IS-100 SLR camera mostly using Konica VX200. 137 of approx. 400 pictures were put onto Kodak PhotoCD. All image processing was done on Linux, using the tools hpcdtoppm, xv and The GIMP. In total, this series comprises 23 MB JPEG images.
